Post Office refusing A00 QR codes

Hello,

Traipsed all the to the Post Office in the middle of a gale warning only to be told  the Post Office

has been told not to accept QR codes beginning with YA00.

The man at the post office showed me the warning that popped up onto his screen when

the QR code from E-Bay successfully scanned in.

He said the fault is with E-Bay.

He then showed me a whole of pile (approx 20) refused A00 QR codes from Saturday.

I have two parcel with YA00 and still have them. Now what do I do?

(refund the the buyers and call it a day is a very tempting option.)

Yours in utter despair

@0131jojo34 , have a read on this thread:

ebay have responded, and PO’s should be accepting these parcels.

Informative post. Check the opening times at your local RM delivery office or check for another drop off point which is NOT a PO

Spoke to a chap at E-Bay.

Solution. Pay postage, fill out two refund forms and;

These are the steps how to add the tracking number to the order: >>Kindly click the drop down near "Track package" >>Then click "Add Tracking" >>Then select "+ Additional tracking number" >>Once added Kindly save the changes There will be an "x" mark near old tracking. If you click that old tracking will be delete.

I am now off to the post office, again ignoring yellow peril weather warnings risking life, limb and

sanity.  I'll post an update when I , and if, I return.

Yours, Still in utter despair but this time wrapped up like Nanook of the North.

Back OK.

Paid £7.19  and £4.99. Like the E-Bay clerk told me to do.

That means both me and the customers have paid postage for these items.

Managed to cancel QR codes and enter Royal Mail tracking numbers.

Filled out two refund forms message said they were accepted now waiting to see reaction

or if message comes telling they are looking into it.

They will need to see proof of posting but no option on refund form to give this option.

Fear I am going to be ignored or wrapped up in red tape.

Yours, still in despair and confusion.

I bought mine from RM with the exact same YA00 and they were collected this morning and making their way through the mail system
