Switched everything to Revolut but i cannot get ebay payments to accept the account. It says itll send 2 microdeposits which never arrive. Not worth risking anything incase real sales go missing. I used my natwest but anyone had this issue? or even know why?

As far as I know, eBay only accept what we think of as High Street banks and seem to have problems with online banks such as Revolut, Monzo and organisations like Payoneer.

Thing is every other bank (monzo, monese etc etc) all work fine. It's literally just Revolut. I guess it's not the end of the world cuz I use curve to combine all my cards and accounts. More just a niggle lol.

Revolut is not really accepted, could you please confirm if the system let you add that Revolut account? The reason I ask is because not accepted banks cannot be added at all, and not receiving the microdeposits is a totally different story. Normally, when you don't receive the microdeposits is because the entered details are wrong, that's one of the reasons why bank accounts have to be verified, to prevent your funds from being sent to the wrong account/details.
Based on this, I presume you have an accepted bank account on file, and your microdeposits would've been sent to that account, which is why you wouldn't see the microdeposits in your Revolut account.

Revolut obtained a UK banking licence in July - the lack of one was likely why Revolut accounts were previously rejected. However, as they're currently in the "mobilisation stage" their UK customer's accounts are still registered with an "e-money institution" and not a bank so I'm surprised eBay seems to be currently accepting Revolut accounts.

For the record guys, the micro deposits just took a day to appear for some wierd reason. When i put those in, it works as normal on ebay. Strange but now its connected quite happily.

Amazed they got one the way they've behaved in the past. Just goes to show getting a licence is little more than a formality, a cheque, and trebles all round at the Club.

Just to explain Marco's and my own posts. eBay requires a UK bank account - Revolut accounts were previously rejected at the account entry stage because they are not "UK bank accounts". Revolut and other "electronic money providers" typically have a banking licence obtained in a country that has little regulation for banks like Luxembourg (i.e. PayPal) or Lithuania in Revolut's case.
Revolut did obtain a UK banking licence in July but this is subject to a "mobilisation stage" meaning their UK account holders do not have "UK bank accounts" until that process is complete. This means any money you currently keep in a Revolut account is not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme should Revolut go belly-up. For this reason I'm genuinely surprised eBay is currently allowing Revolut accounts to be used.

Is Monzo being accepted though? When I tried to add my Monzo account a couple of months ago, ebay let me add the account but they said it could only be used to pay for eBay transactions. It could not be used for payouts. And indeed the micro transactions never appeared on the account. I had to use my Nationwide account instead.
I was just checking if Revoult was acceptable as I was going to open an account but it seems that the jury is still out on that one?

Hello , I have situation that I can’t add my banc and revolut is also not accepted. I try to find a solution. The problem is that I changed my personal information and also to business account and I need to change all information , but with no results, they are still can’t verify my account and asking again to update. I made revolut bussines account and now waiting … What do you think is it possible to add revolut bussines account ?

Revolut now have a UK banking licence - they are in the Prudential Regulatory Authority's list of banks as "Revolut NewCo UK Ltd". If you check something from Revolut (like a statement) is that the company you have an account with?

This doesn't sound like an issue with adding your Revolut account; it sounds more like an issue with account verification. You need to check the business details you have given eBay match exactly the details the account is registered in. For example, "Mr. Some Body" is not the same as "Mr. S. Body"; the details must match exactly.

the account was created by other person , now I changed it from individual to bussines adding all bussines details and bank , rev.. but it’s still asking to update. because they couldn’t verify .

eBay doesn't allow accounts to be transferred from one party to another so that might be causing the problem.
I also note you are registered in Romania; I'm only familiar with the UK's specific Payments Terms of Use. However, you will not be able to use a Revolut UK account; you will need an account issued by Revolut Lithuania as you will need an account from a bank registered in the EEA.

I was checking for you there and your account was not registered in the UK originally, so that's probably why your account is not accepting any UK banks. Due to different policies and regulations, you're better off contacting our support team from your region, so they can look into it for you. However, as advised above, accounts are not transferable as per our policies.

As mentioned by marco@ebay you will need to check with your local eBay support team as your payment terms may differ from the UK ones.
You will need an account from a bank with a banking licence issued within the EEA but if the business name your eBay account is registered in differs from the name the bank account is registered in it might not be accepted. Normally the names must be an exact match; I doubt that is going to be the case if the bank account is registered to an individual whilst your eBay account is registered to a company.

For the record i connected mine in the end but i think i found out what the issue is. U see revolut's "pro" bolt on account doesn't actually exist. It is ur personal account with a sort of made up account number. I only realised this was the case when every direct debit kept failing. I checked and the direct debit had my personal account number on it. I thought i'd made a mistake so deleted them all again and made a new mandate with my pro details. It sets it up with my personal details again and refuses to work with the pro account.

Hello, I wrote before about my problem with payments, I contacted to custom support and there was an problem with my ID card pic , so I resent it , and they said , that my revolut account is accepted. I have business revolut account. Now , it is looks like without any issue , but I contact them again to ask , for checking my account status about “payment on hold”, just to be sure, they said , my account has no any other issue , but possible I’ll get soon a notification to add more information about company. And I can run my selling account.
