POLICY VIOLATION

Hello recieved a policy violation on a listing,do not know what the violation is e-bay won't tell me,does anyone have any ideas,can't even cancel the listing,baffled?

Other  similar reports are slowly coming through, it seems to be the latest temporary site glitch!

Today is also eBay's maintenance day, where those in eBay Towers CaliforNIA  are tweaking and installing new systems,  sending things a little awry  in the UK,  especially early in the day , as it's still very early hours in the morn in the States.

Take a peek a little later on,  hopefully the violation notice will have gone!

I have had two new listings today tagged as having policy violations, but there is nothing in the resolution page.  Both were created by modifying existing listings, and there is no issue with the originals.  In fact there is nothing wrong with the new listings either.  So I spoke to CS and they said there is an issue with the site, but wouldn't go into any more detail.  So I guess one of the developers has screwed-up something overnight, and we will just have to wait until they unscrew it.  Won't be listing any more until it is resolved, but could be days I guess.  Does anyone from eBay want to comment here - assuming they are listening.

We have had other users report the same issue. A ticket has been logged with policy and the tech team and is currently being worked on to resolve.

It's a glitch because of maintenance,  many reports coming through others experiencing this too.

  On Friday when it's eBay's maintenance day many weird and wonderful things happen, when they're installing new systems in eBay's HQ In the States, it's still quite early in the day there,  so that's when most work is done, and most weird ' happenings' here !

Take a peek at you listings later today it should be back to norm!
