Overcharged by eBay

Hi all.

I listed my car for sale a couple of days ago and almost at once had a couple of fake BUY it NOW bidders and I had to end the listings after it was marked SOLD and then I had to relist. This happened twice more in the days after, even when I specifically added in bold red caps.

PLEASE DO NOT CLICK BUY IT NOW BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER OF MESSAGING ME!

Subsequently I`ve been charged 5 times for selling my vehicle, (It did sell eventually)

Who do I contact for assistance with this?

All listings fees are non refundable,  and charged the second the item is listed, and payable sale or no sale.

It's the same if you listed your vehicle 5 times in your local paper, and you had non payers who came to view or the vehicle just didn't sell,  the paper would not refund you your advertising fee.

Two things you can do.

Next time you list your car, beautiful car BTW!  List it in a Classified ad format, it's slightly more expensive but has benefits and most would recommend this form,  see link below.  When  re listing,  add all those listings fees to the starting price of the vehicle.

Many thanks to all. I spoke to customer services and eventually I got my money refunded.

Maybe because it was a genuine mistake and I have been a member for over
20 years.
