Order not marked a delivered

My wife and I are both 87 and not in the best of health and can no longer drive a car. So when we sold our desktop PC there  was no way we could carry this round to a Corier Drop-off point.

I went roung and round the very confusing eBay postage system trying to find a courier who would collect our parcel. I know DPD will collect and eBay says it can do deliveries by DPD but all I could find was delivery by Evri and they will not do a collection service

I decided to contact DPD directly, on a Sunday evening, they collected it on the next day (Monday) and it was delivered on the following day (Tuesday)

Fantastic service BUT along came eBay with their convoluted and unhelpful help system which takes your round their rigid help system which always returns you back to the start.

My problem is simple, because I delivered my sale using DPD (one of therir approved Couriers) independantly I could not find anyway to tell them the delivery details and so they have stubbornly left the item as undelivered. DPD have informed me of its delivery and I have no feedback from the buyer telling me it has not arrived

How do I get it marked as Deliverd

eBay has told me to go back to my eBay listings and enter the necessary tracking information without giving any details.

The problem you have here is that you have delivery by DPD for £15 on your listing, and if you didn't use the label this will go back to the buyer, you can't claim the postage cost for your DPD label you bought yourself.

What you can do to add the new tracking number is to go to the order details and use the 'get your label' link. This will enable you to add a new tracking number.

This is all a bit complicated if you don't use eBay that often. If you don't add any tracking number you'll still get your money, it'll just take 14 days.

You can mark the item as dispatched by opening the original ebay label.   It will remain unused.

Then add the new tracking number via View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow > Add Tracking.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.

Are you confusing DPD with DHL?  The item was listed and sent with custom postage not eBay’s Simple Delivery so there shouldn't be any unused label.

Is DPD not a SD option? If not, then yes, I've confused matters.

When I looked much more carefully at the Oders section nad the particular oder in question I saw a small section asking for the Tracking of the order to be updated. Soon after I amended this section ebay marked the order as delivered and released the funds.
