Order details stating I've marked item as payment received when I haven't. Why?

A couple of buy it now items that I sold before the weekend are showing on the order details that "you marked this item as payment received". Well, I haven't marked them as such. Is this some sort of ebay glitch? The thing that's bothering me is that I don't know whether the buyer has paid or whether someone has bought them and I am awaiting payment. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Hopefully,  it's a glitch ,  the site seems full of them at the moment,  with these big changes a comin'.

Access to your account is needed here to explain this,  so you'll need to contact eBay Customer Services.  I recommend  only contacting CS very first thing in the morning when the lines first open,  at 8 a.m. on a weekday,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.  They should clear this up for you.

Hi gorragerritgone, thanks for your post.

To confirm if a buyer paid, you can just go to your sold section and there you can confirm if the item was paid for, you'd also get a notification. If you see no confirmation or notification anywhere, then it probably was because the item wasn't paid for. However, if you confirm the item number, I can take a look for you no problem.
