No funds

Hi. I sold an item yesterday, which was collected by the buyer. I scanned the QR code and everything updated and it shows as collected. The status says that the funds were released to my eBay balance shortly after, however the funds have not gone in to my balance. 

I don't show add having any payments on hold either. Any ideas what might be happening here?

Same happening to me. Yesterday buyer even showed me ebay has taken his money. If they continue to behave like this, cash on collection must be brought back!

I just doesn't make any sense. What can be the hold up? The buyer has confirmed that they have received the item, there is no reason at all that eBay shouldn't release the funds. Maybe you're right, back to cash on collection.

It's Friday ,A.K.A. "Freaky Friday" ,I.E. Maintainance Day.Being that it's a Bank holiday in UK may make it even more glitchy 🤐

To ebay it makes total sense.They keep the money and gain interest on it,

It's like the old paypal days lol. I'm pretty sure none of what they're doing is legal. Even the simple delivery. Enforcing certain carriers i just feel is breaking some law somewhere.
