New Label payment Service by Ebay

We have noticed ebay now offering all labels using new "service" section . We usually buy Evri Standard but pay by our credit card to monitor transactions. Now Ebay is only offering one option where you can only buy using your funds with ebay.

Pay with Funds -These consist of your available and processing funds. It also includes the transaction hold from this order. 

Why has ebay done this as its totally useless?

I've read several times about other sellers requesting this feature as until they can access the funds from the sale they have no other money to purchase postage.

I would assume that this would become an additional payment option rather than the only, so it would seem strange if eBay have removed all other options.

If you buy packlinks DPD, evri or yodel labels eBay will automatically use any available funds first for private sellers, not sure about business sellers.

You will either have to wait till your funds have transferred out to your bank or buy direct from the courier.

It's another thing eBay has implemented without considering whether it's right for everyone.
