NO SALES !!! what more can I do ?.

14th November ?.....The significance of that is it's my last sale on Ebay and it was only £5.

I don't know what else I can do ?.....Brand new £25 shirts for £5, Brand new £50 Camo Cargo Trs for £5, Brand new Winter jacket for £20 (Amazon Price now over £67) ...Music everything from death metal to country and western. 

Unfortunately where I live there are no 2nd hand shops,no vintage shops and no car boot sales. I don't have transport so cannot travel. I have in the region of 10,000 items I am trying to sell and i'm getting no where,no offers no sales not even any messages of enquire.

My intention is to sell everything I have ever bought since 1982. I cannot take it with me and I thought Ebay was the place to sell everything but .......

There is no alternative to Ebay and I am at a loss as to what more I can do to get sales.

Views are massively down across a lot of sectors at the moment, especially for private sellers I think.

I've decided to sell off my collection of maps/prints/books and have listed some items on my personal account, and some through this business account. The personal account stuff is getting hardly any views despite being priced to sell and with Promoted Listings at 20%.

Unless you desperately need the money i would hold on to your items instead of letting them go to cheap. Enjoy your Christmas and have a think over it....if you have lots of specialist items an auction house might be worth a shot.....they would travel to you  and advise you, maybe in putting lots together and placing  reserve prices on....lots of items sold with little work done ie no listing and no packaging.

I agree with some of the other posts. There are certainly other sites but you could really work on your listings.

All capitals I personally find off putting as it makes things hard to read and so many items are listed as New when they aren’t. I found a Tennent’s Half pint glass that you even say is Used, but then state the condition as New. These may be simple mistakes, but it’ll make people question other listings, even if they are accurate.

Your clothes (not the more collectable ones) may go better on the V site, especially if you're cutting the price so much. Books and CDs are hard, as the big boys undercut you so much.

A lot of what you have listed will just lie there for a long time, waiting for one buyer - they're not popular items. I had the same problem earlier this year on my private account, and I realised that what I was selling was just very "me", and I wasn't really matching up with what others wanted. It's hard to lose faith in things that you like, and that you think other people should like, but sometimes you just need to accept it.

Maybe spend this quiet time to re-jig your sales - get rid of the stale stuff for now, and get some new things up for the new year.

@punkwroc77 You are still selling alot of your stuff as "unisex Fragrance". As I said before, I don't search by category but the algorithm, well who knows.

You know your stuff best, but the dragon bracelet, I would struggle to get £10 for it. You need to say how long it is as well because it doesn't look long enough to be a bracelet, certainly not for a man.

I have had some success resisting (sell similar) items which have no views in the month. My personal preference is to put what the item is before the description.

You do have to spoon feed buyers, don't let them guess anything. US sized boots say what the equivalent is. Large t shirt show a tape measure in the picture. Write CD not disc. 

But you've sold alot, you have followers,  trust yourself to know the items worth and have a bit of a sale or put some really cheap items on in the new year to get things moving. JMHO
