Okay, I am shocked at eBay adding fees for buyers to pay, this is exactly the Vinted model and it isn't a good one!. eBay must realise that people buying on Vinted are fed up with having to pay these fees especially when at least 40% of items from Vinted arrive filthy or damaged and have to be returned, it creates hassle for buyers. eBay are missing a trick I think because where they could have gained all those extra customers away from Vinted, now they won't.
Private sellers will eventually move off this eBay platform as they can't compete on price (for smaller cheaper items) against the business sellers and having to wait so long for payouts is madness, surely once the item is delivered that is good enough reason to payout? Eventually eBay will just become another Amazon selling new goods! eBay was built on the small private sellers selling used items, we have given eBay the reputation it has. Being able to buy secondhand items is brilliant for sellers and buyers alike but sadly eBay are alienating the private sellers... ! I see from the threads and talking to friends too, people are going to be stopping selling on here. I want private sellers on here because if they aren't here, eBay won't be the buyers "go to marketplace" any longer and that hurts us all eBay included...!
