Ive been using ebay since 2003 an sol hundreds of items without issue, I havent sold aanything for a few months and today came up against an impossible obsticle in the postage process. For some reason ebay had decided that a mountain bike frame requires age verification upon delivery, god knows why. So when I was trying to print a postage label because of the age verification and the size of the package needed to ship the item there were no available services for me to send it using the postage payment that the buyer had sent as ebay now hold funds until after it has arrived at its destination.
I have had to buy a separate courrier service direct from evri out of my own money!!
Also when did compulsory buyer protection fees come in? Another racketeering process implemented by ebay to get their pound of flesh.
I used to love ebay but since around 2010 ish it has got progressively worse year by year.

@guy80000 "Another racketeering process implemented by ebay to get their pound of flesh."
Hi Guy, you're the first person to ever say that! I mean the one thousand & first. Started in Feb I think it was.
Don't know about the age verification, it shouldn't have happened, but cutlery is on the list, so perhaps next time find another word for "forks".
Still look on the bright side you got a sale, you will make people jealous....

I notice your Advert has Age Verification on it.
eBay on their drop-down menu offers RM48 Age Verification postage, but the Royal Mail's pamphlet does not show this postage option.
The Buyer should have paid for a postage label, check in your emails to see if the label has been sent to you. The label you purchased yourself can be refunded as long as you do not get it scanned.
