Microsoft Outlook is down

For information for anyone using Microsoft.

Outlook is down today. No e mails coming through so don't rely on them for sales/message info.

Re: Microsoft Outlook is down

You are one of the lucky ones then. Just had one come through, a sign in code for Ebay which I requested hours ago. Still  waiting for a bunch of listing confirmation e mails. It seems to have been caused by an outage earlier this morning.

Re: Microsoft Outlook is down

My Dad last week;

'I've had no emails on the PC upstairs for a week'

'Oh, but youre getting them on the phone?'

'Yes all fine'

'Right, does the internet work on the PC upstairs?'

'Come to think of it no'

'For 2 weeks??'

'No'

I have no words 😂

Whilst he's on holiday I now need to investigate....

Re: Microsoft Outlook is down

Ahahaha,  my tech is limited but I'm not that bad. It is being reported by all of the nationals as being down/having issues.  Looks like I'm just one of the unlucky ones.

Re: Microsoft Outlook is down

My dad:  'I wouldn't want email.  You have to phone the person and tell them you've sent an email.  What's the point of email, you may as well tell them what you want on the phone call'.

I couldn't convince him that you didn't have to phone the person that you'd sent an email to.  His mate in the pub had told him that you had to phone and his mate knows all about computers.

My profession?  IT consultant.  Lots of certificates to prove it.

My dad wasn't big on female equality - only men know about computers, so I was wrong and his mate was right.
