Lost item refunded

Hi I posted a clip on squish out 48hr tracked Royal Mail the tracking for 9 days said they were still waiting for me to send it out when they had it so they opened a case i automatically issued refund and now 17 days after posting it is now saying delivered what do I do in this situation buyer has not responded to messages they have the item and a full refund and Royal Mail are saying they will refund the postage.

When I saw they had it I was referring to Royal Mail it was delivered to customer till 27-09-24 sent on the 10-09-24 Royal Mail think 17 days is within 48hr

Other than asking the buyer to pay again there isn't really anything else you can do.  Ebay won't get involved and the value is too low to consider any legal action. 

If the buyer does agree to repay you they will have to do so outside of eBay via PayPal, bank transfer, or cheque.

You should be able to claim the postage back from Royal Mail, as it was delivered outside their stated delivery times.

I think the whole thing is a joke eBay will step in and help buyers but sellers just get done over. Royal Mail have agreed to £10 compensation plus cost of postage so given the low cost of it I ended up better off eBay going down like titanic too many other platforms doing the same but better 10 yrs from now eBay will be small fry I am about to take my items of this account and sell on a private account for the free fees eBay can whistle for anymore money from me
