I don't believe that you can appeal, but I'd check that with eBay CS in the morning.

I’ve found that the easiest route to contact eBay Customer Services is via the link below where you can request a call back:

It's possible that the brand owner is a member of eBay's verified Rights Owners programme (VeRO) and requested that it be removed. The message that's generated is one that the item is counterfeit, which may not actually be correct, but its a one size fits all message.

You won't be able to relist it though. What was the brand, out of interest?

Hi - The brand was Guerlain which is odd as I listed a perfume by the same brand last week and that was accepted?

These days my experience with VeRO is that they leave the listing active but hide it from Buyers. They then remind you that you have a hidden listing that needs addressing. You can either end the listing or 'Resolve Policy Violations'. Like @*vyolla*  said, sometimes these are unresolvable because the copyright holder does not allow you to sell their items on eBay. Sometimes it is something as simple as removing the company's stock photo or copyrighted description and replacing them with your own work. Sometimes things are counterfeit without you knowing - depending on where you bought it - again it would help to know the brand.

That is odd, I did take a quick look at the VeRO list and neither Guerlain or their parent company LVMH are on it, but I know that Louis Vuitton are part of VeRO but not listed so its still likely to be a brand removal request.

Phoned them and after being put on hold several times and eventually speaking to someone it was eventually resolved. Half the issue was not giving enough information re the item condition in that particular field. I altered that part so it read something like "New, unused but without box etc." and then tried to re-list and it worked? I think it is just an automated thing with Ebay? Anyway resolved thanks to you for your help as I find trying to get past the chatbot and actually speaking to someone is like getting an audience with the Pope!! 😉

Again - many thanks Vyolla

Perfumes need to be in their original box which is probably why it was removed.

I am not technically minded. I find it difficult to navigate Ebay and eBay rule's and regulations. I have sold over 1,300 item's and had 11 negative feedback and less than 10 other infringement's against my account. Most have been unwarranted from buyer's being bloody minded. I have over 1,000 satisfied customers and 99.1 posite feedback. Please help me better navigate Ebay and Ebay rule's as I want to improve at whatever the cost to myself. I'm sorry if my being a technophobe has brought me to this suspension. Can you please help me better my performance please 🙏

You could start with reading Ebays policy for business sellers as unless the 1000+ listings for watches ( current and sold) were your own personal unwanted possessions, this applies to you.

Looking at your purchase feedback, you have a lot from a well known Vintage seller who sells job lots.

Changing to a business means that your buyers will not have to pay a BPF and will have the option to return the item, which may cut down on your negative feedbacks.

You will have to pay to sell but you will be trading legally and giving your buyer their Consumer Rights. So if all the above applies and you are serious about your statement 'I want to improve at whatever the cost to myself'  then that would be my advice.

I don't think they are selling perfume.

Apparently it was because it was a tester, even though full and unused you aren't allowed to sell them on Ebay?? Seems odd to me but those are their rules?
