Listing Removed But Item Not Part Of Recall

Can anyone advise me on what to do next please.

I scheduled a listing and in the listing stated that although there had been a recall, my item was not part of it. Ebay withdrew the listing stating 'Recalled and other unsafe products aren't allowed on eBay. This item may not be sold, because it has been recalled for safety reasons.' and also sent a link to the manufacturer's recall website.

I appealed and sent a picture of the serial numbers on my item which did not fall within the recall.

Ebay responded straight away rejecting the appeal (presumably an automated response.)

Does anyone know how Ebay detect that my item was recalled - was it because I was too truthful and stated that it was not part of the recall in my listing, or do they have a list of recalls that they check all listings against.

I don't know what to do next. I presumably cannot make a new listing as I am guessing the bots will be able to pick this up and I do not want to compromise my account.
