Not used ebay in a long time. Just sold item, went to post office and sent item with parcelforce. Then when looking for dispatched button on my listing all I could find is print label and ebay deducted postage fee. Didn't ask for this and can't see a way to get my money.  So confused, especially at my age.

eBay's new system Simple Delivery is now compulsory for all private sellers (except for letter items and large/heavy items).  

See if you can change the tracking number at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.    That has to be done on a desktop browser.

If not you'll have to generate the original prepaid Simple Delivery label and try again.

Afterwards if you paid for the original label you can cancel it here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

Even if you don't manage to do the above the payment will be released anyway in 14 days.

Unfortunately, Simple Delivery has replaced the old way of posting, so you can no longer choose how you want to post your items, or the price of postage. It is all 'automated'.

It is causing confusion for sellers who have not been around for a while, and have not realised things have changed. If you alter, or relist an item, the listing will be automatically switched to Simple Delivery, so it is possible for an item to sell, without the seller knowing they (or the buyer) have been charged for a postage label.

From Aug 6th, all listings will be updated to Simple Delivery.
