Well after 24 years and having a Business account and a private account I've finally had enough.
I Started back in 2001 when most people didn't even know what Ebay was! I used to go to the auctions allot back then until Ebay killed off most of them, don't get me wrong Ebay was a good selling platform to start with but over the years they have just complicated it more and more to the point now where they seem to make all the profit but these last 6 month's it's got to a stage where it's an absolute joke, change this! change that! change it back again, holding your money, Not holding your money, Now Postage costs *bleep* !.
I think I speak for allot of people in saying we have had enough, and you Ebay will feel this with your profits, Id like to like it will now get more auction houses starting back up, also car boots and autojumbles to get money back in local towns again also get people using cash more, finally to Ebay it's a shame as I loved your selling platform and over the years contributed allot to the size of company you are today, shame you had to change things, probably pressure from the uk government as they don't want anyone making money.

I have been a private seller and buyer for a long time. Sold very little in the last 12 months and have recently decided to move on from Ebay. No longer worth the trouble. Left a few small items for sale to keep he account running on the off chance they see sense eventually. I can dispose of unwanted clutter etc in other ways quite easily. Ebay has also lost me as a buyer as for the most part I will buy from other platforms and direct from suppliers which are cheaper anyway.

I have been with eBay since October 2000, so nearly 25 years.
Never had a negative feedback and praise for the way my wife wraps items so well.
Sold the odd item, then a whole load when we downsized to move house, then my autograph collection and last year my coin collection. It was all working well, with regular sales each week at one point.
I now have gold coins to sell this year, but sadly using eBay is no longer an option having sold over 20 Go,d coins on this platform over the last 3 years. There is no way I’m waiting for payment or using the postage that eBay selects for me. Also the buyers fee has killed sales dead now.
I will leave what I have listed active and if anything does sell and I don’t agree with eBay’s postage selection then simply cancel the sale giving eBay simple delivery as the reason.
oh well …eBay was good while it lasted, but soon will another name in history like Pan-am and Friends reunited.
PS I now avoid buying on eBay now also.
