Transferred some selling funds from ebay to my bank account using the ebay app today and got the following message:
Solved! Go to Solution.

I think the message is a reminder, if you haven't done anything with your funds, they will transfer them to your bank automatically:-
'If you don't use or withdraw your balance, we'll automatically send your available funds to your bank account on the first Tuesday of every January, April, July, and October. For more information, visit our article on eBay balance.'

Yes, it would be.

Only came up today so assumed it was something new, also starting from 1st April 2025, so seems to indicate something new.
That said, good news from ebay for private sellers does seem pretty unlikely.

It's only new to you if you didn't get the auto payment that happened to some members in early January.

I can't even remember how I found out about the 'payout schedule' - there has been so much going on with eBay recently, my head feels full of mangled up bits of information, updates and t&cs... 😖

It was part & parcel with the introduction of the "Ebay Wallet", if I remember correctly.
Automatic weekly/monthly payouts stopped and cash sent to your Wallet. After 2 days the seller was allowed to manually withdraw the funds to their bank.
Part one of "How much can we make by hanging onto private sellers sales proceeds?"

😄
And eBay never miss an opportunity to encourage us to spend our eBay Balance on eBay, do they? 'Why not treat yourself...? Buy something you love... ah, go on, go on, go on...'

Even though my funds are available to withdraw, the option is greyed out and I get this message that my funds will be sent out on the 1st of April instead. I haven’t even setup an automated payout schedule. This site just gets worse by the minute!

They have to pay out 4 times a year everything that is in available balance (must be a law) so it's Jan, April, July, Oct

Wonder what the problem is? I was able to withdraw successfully today, so I don't know why you can't, if your funds are available. Perhaps have another go, & see if anything different happens?
If you haven't withdrawn funds before, you might need to click on another link, or fiddle about a bit to get the right box to pop up... they don't make it easy, do they?!

I had this yesterday, but logging out and back in fixed the withdraw button for me. 🙂
