Im absolutely furious! Ebay have changed their policy and are now refusing to pay monies (which belong to the buyer) until the item has been posted and received!!
I have been selling on Ebay for 19 years and this is how we are being treated?
I will NOT pack and post my valuable antiques until I have been paid! I have never heard anything so ridiculous! Can we not be trusted? Shame on you Ebay! You are the loser here! I have now cancelled all sales and 67 listings and I will find another platform to sell my antiques with someone that values me!!

Untracked items with no feedback are paid after 14 days.

Should have read the previous posts before asking that last question. Thanks to those who have put me right

'Funds being released after feedback has been received for low value items hasn't been rolled out yet.'
This is incorrect. For items under £10, you are already paid 24 hours after positive feedback is left.
Later this month, you will be paid as soon as feedback is left for items that sell for £25 or less.
When you’re selling a single item for £25 or less, funds will be available instantly if positive feedback is received from the buyer*. This will apply on both tracked and untracked orders. This change will be live mid-March.

And if positive (or no) feedback IS NOT left? I love your quote, pity you don't read it

I was simply correcting an incorrect statement.
To answer your question @stamps.of.lundy if there is no feedback, then you will be paid 48 hours after the tracking on Ebay shows delivery or 14 days after the transaction. In practice, this is day 15.
I am fully aware that not many buyers leave feedback (I find about 50% do) but I was addressing a very specific point regarding feedback.
if you have any further questions, I am always happy to help.

They arent the loser though sadly, they must be holding millions in their accounts gaining interest, while we have to pay for international postage on some items and get nothing back for weeks. Buyers can bid win and cancel - no bad marks against them and we cant leave bad feedback. If I was to cancel a sale, I get bad feedback that cant be removed. Ridiculous.

Totally agree, the issue I'm seeing is even after the item has been delivered & confirmed by tracking a week later MY money is still being held by eBay. I guessing they are creaming off interest from the millions of 'held' payments.

Can I politely say that I disagree, sellers are at the beck and call of couriers doing their job. I recently sold a Rock Branded Hoodie that was too small for £30 (half the original cost). Yodel lost the package, then found it but claimed they couldn't deliver and it would be returned to sender (me).
1) I had to refund the buyer
2) it has never been returned
3) I finally had to raise this with ebay as one month had passed with frustrated live chats with Yodel
Packlink investigated and I will be paid £25 but it takes up to 1 month to receive this. So I can't see how this is fair to private sellers.

I have one outstanding with Evri. Posted last Monday, accepted into Evri's systems the same day and no updates since. ebay's EDDs said delivery by Thursday so I had my first wrestle with Evri's rubbish AI customer services yesterday . I suspect its one of the 8m parcels Evri expects to mislay this year.

It was £3.75 for a small parcel, but now i add Royal Mail tracked 48, its £3.95 I'd rather get it tracked, and not give ebay any more excuses to get money out of me, as they get enough out of us sellers.
