Evri is the worst of the worst delivery company i nearly lost my business on other selling platform

Evri have a bad reputation previously aswell with the name of Hermes and now they trading as Evri to hide the bad service my question is why Ebay allowing them to operate here its a bad news for ebay and the sellers im broke cause of them im starting from scratch again lost a lot of money in another selling platform cause whether the item lost or pictures with out fisical delivery and a lot more .

I have zero issues with evri here. Infact since they took over we have had 4 regular drivers who have all been great

Yes, for 5 years we had a wonderful one.  He moved on, new one not cut from the same cloth.

But whether you have a good one or a bad one, the problem is you don't know what the buyer's driver is like.

to be honest i must be lucky because the only  issue with any delivery company i have had is when amazon do not bother to even knock to see if we are home and just put the parcel at side of the front door...or they do knock and when you open they are in the van already and parcel is on the wet floor because they are lazy 

for this i always leave them bad reviews because thats what its there for as i know most do not leave delivery reviews

I actually had 3 lps come through evri yesterday, all packed separate despite being 1 seller and all were fine. Reason being I specifically asked the seller to pack them in cardboard  and not bags + loads of tape which strengthens it more. Lps are extremely prone to damage and not just snapped in half, as a rule the corners of the sleeve will 100% be bent If not sent in carboard and guess what? all 3 were absolutely fine so I stand by my view that they will break everything unless it is well packed + a bit more and if you are delivering to home put the finished parcel in a bag just incase they leave it outdoors.

You have to pack the parcel and assume they will play football with it, if its bombproof then it will be fine but if its fragile or valuable certainly consider a different method and dont complain after, Evri are cheapest for very good reason and guess what ive come around to thinking there is room for them in the market, the majority of items shipped with them are probably clothes or shoes etc so handling doesnt matter just cost and they have made business possible for a lot that could never afford to be paying premium prices for better companies.

Everyone's comments about E.R.V.I are very correct. They are even a scam company, don't click on the link they send in the message and give them your personal information.

The local driver, seems to think he can park on or across private drives. He leaves outside in communal areas thinking its a safe place. No end of neighbours have experienced the same with their deliveries.

Hermes/Evri should be banned from ebay with the advertising & delivery options REMOVED!!

Yes, they have lost so many of mt parcels, and they also lie, told me  and eBay, that they delivered at midinight, but no pictures, nothing, then it turned up at collection shop a few days later, and now Ebay are promoting them

as one eBayer told me that with the new simply postage they had to use EVRI, but when they checked ROYAL MAIL was cheaper, Thank you, eBay.

The eBayer who told you they Had to use Evri perhaps didn't understand how this new Simple Delivery works.  They're not to blame , many aspects of SD are not clear .

Royal Mail can be selected as the only option the seller wishes to use,  they can deselect Evri as an option in their Site Preferences.

Hello, more problems with EVRI and eBay, I bought a small table, the seller was told to use EVRI, but eBay says they don't make people use EVRI.  This seller was not the first to say that, I checked with EVRI on Friday,  they asked for my postcode, and was told it will be delivered on  Saturday. If it doesn't arrive, call them back. It  did not arrive called back and asked for the postcode again. SORRY WE DO NOT RECOGNIZE THAT POST CODE, BUT THEY ON FRIDAY,  then checked and the message said, reurning to seller, no reason why, the seller has no idea, and he said happy to refund, went thru eBay, and yes you have guessed no refund yet, I will have to wait for 10 days, and is was over £100. asked why do I have to wait, as it down to EVRI AND EBAY, that ihas been messed up, these are rules I am told and there is nothing I an do, and they have complaints dept, he will report it, but will not change, So I told him that the phone call is just a wasteof time,

Have you opened an "item not received" case? You should be able to do this the day after the latest estimated delivery date and should be able to "ask eBay to step in" on the third day if the item has still not turned up.

You are very lucky!!!!!

Personally, my package was posted to me me on April the 4th 2025 and I am still waiting for it…I will never use Evri again or recommend as there is not ‘ real person’ to chase a missing parcel.

you can’t lie about one of their missing parcels as it tell you and the poster when it’s been delivered. As you will find out when one of yours goes missing and there’s no customer care to chase it for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally never had a problem with Evri - pleasant delivery people - always on time and very easy to communicate with - although there was only one occassion when communication was necessary and that was when it was Hermes on the phone - very pleasant lady - it was all sorted out very quickly.
