Evri expect to lose 8 MILLION Parcels in 2025 that's a lot of disappointed people so why do eBay have them as a delivery service?. if eBay had to pay for any delivery going missing they would soon get a different company to do the job. why don't buyers have a choice of courier? we are the reason that eBay exist.

With Simple Delivery e-Bay DO pay for lost/damaged parcels.
Evri may have lost eight million parcels but how many have they successfully delivered? How does that proportion of losses compare to other couriers? That's what matters. They obviously have more satisfied than dis-satisfied customers or they wouldn't still be in business.
I accept that any company is going to make mistakes but I avoided Evri before Simple Delivery because when there was a problem it was so difficult to sort out.

Under Simple Delivery eBay DO have to pay for any delivery going missing. If they find the number of missing packages is too high, they may consider a different courier, but they will have explored this in minute detail before entering into the contracts.

Someone must be making a good profit with all these "lost" packages.
