Ebay updating live listings from Custom delivery back to Simply Delivery without my knowledge

I discussed with Ebay a few weeks ago about simply delivery as I cannot combine postage. Yesterday I had someone buy 3 items and they asked for a combined invoice with postage discount. One listing was custom and 2 on simply, so I have been able to give the buyer a partial discount from the custom one. Buyer is expecting a larger refund and I cannot give it to him without being out of pocket ! Interestingly 2 were on SD when I do not set my listings up as SD. I then notice that in some of my listings all the type text has been bunched up together making the listings difficult to read. I certainly didn't write them this way. Then I find that all these listings have been updated from custom postage back to SD. This is not acceptable Ebay and rather underhanded. Ebay you are now steadily loosing me my Buyers. I am rather insulated as well being that I have been on Ebay for 15 years. Not sure how much more I wish to put up with !!

There's no avoiding Simple Delivery for Private Sellers, and yes,  others too have woken up to find ' custom postage' selected items,  automatically changed to Simple Delivery.

eBay did notify members SD was on its way initially from April 15th.  It was a slow rollout from that date many sellers still finding the option for Custom Postage , but it won't be long before theirs too,  will be changed to SD.

As said, there's no escaping it.

The issue with not being able to combine postage is a major one , many peeps obviously unhappy at this.

eBay say they know it's a technical issue and working on it,  so watch this ' space' !  Watch all announcements,  when finally fixed,  I'm sure someone will post that welcome news here too.

Customer service advised me back in April that custom postage was always going to be available. They cannot take this away until they have fixed the fact that we cannot combine postage, or send invoices for multiple purchases and if they do I for one will loose all my buyers as my items are low value. Ebay has made too many changes too fast and right first time has not worked with many of the changes. The losers are both the buyers and sellers and eventually Ebay profits as lots have and will continue to just leave the platform

I'm afraid they absolutely can do this. It's their selling platform and they can do with it as they please as long as it's legal.

You may not like it but it has happened and I see no reason to think they're going to change it back. 

Also looking at your listing I would say you account looks like it ought to be on business account anyway and thus you can have whatever postage options you want.
