Seller receives unjustified negative feedback, including, blatant lies and misinformation - seller contacts ebay who, after x2 appeals, including, reviewing all messages b/w seller and buyer (with no justifcation for negative feedback), states they will not remove the lies of the feedback and will 'always' support the buyer' and not the seller in these circumstances, stating they will always 'believe the buyers experience' regardless of the facts!! The buyer also included messages to do business outside of ebay and ebay took no action and still upheld the negative feedback. Ebay also said 'don't worry' because the negative feedback only lasts a year! Ebay ignored fact that seller has literally zero negative feedback received after over 23 yrs and thousands of transactions, using ebay. Ebay also have the nerve to state at the start of agent phone communications - 'we thank you for your 23 yrs loyalty! Shameful. Together with the awful service and policy, high seller % costs, no wonder people are leaving ebay. Wake up Ebay, think about where you make your money - sellers selling!!!!

eBay don't want to spend Customer Services time on feedback removal. So they won't encourage sellers to contact them about it by agreeing to manual review and removal. eBay seem to have the view that buyers are entitled to their opinion and to express that in feedback, even if that opinion is quite obviously incorrect. (There are some limited automatic feedback conditions that eBay follow, because it's automated.)
My view with things like negative feedback, eBay account defects for late delivery, messages from buyers saying they didn't read the listing etc. are that as a seller you can only control what you can control. Some buyers will never be happy, some buyers are idiots, sometimes even if you use a good service with a reliable courier the courier will let you down, eBay can make up standards that are nearly impossible to meet. So let that stuff go. Don't waste any more energy on this silly buyer and their negative feedback.

Well the 'good' news is that if what the buyer said is true then the worst damage never happened - "No stars at all".
One star is the worst damage they could have done. No stars = no rating, so does not count against you.

Your reply to that negative is a copy of the negative he left for you, you should have used that reply space to explain your side of the story so that buyers can form their own opinion.
In most cases buyers don't bother looking at feedback scores so I wouldn't worry about it.
The reason they don't bother looking is that it's super easy to get refunds as eBay always sidewith the buyer and usually get the seller to pay for the return too.
Feedback used to be important but now it is not so much as it is mostly used by rival sellers trying to put blemishes on their rivals accounts.

Don't waste your time trying to get a neg or neutral removed. Just pay attention to composing the best and most accurate reply to the feedback.
When I see a seller has less than 100% feedback I give little credence to the ranting of an idiot buyer and look instead at how the seller responds to it.

Exactly, most buyers can also spot idiot buyers leaving revenge feedback - if the seller responds well the idiot buyer looks foolish. Most of them are none too bright and will usually have put something over emotive or just plain wrong that is usually easy to make a simple factual statement against.

Actually E- bay came to my rescue , so I take all of the above comments , what I said back 100%

To give E-bay credit , it takes them a few days to look into and investigate matters and they ruled in my favour
100% .
So actually I give them a lot of respect now !
It takes time to look into things properly but they were , I have to say EXCELLENT with their final response .
So as I believe in giving CREDIT to where it is due !
