At a guess, sicari_90, by "pinpointed down to my area of London" you mean your location is now showing as something like "Croydon, London" or "Enfield, London" rather than a previously generalised location of London.
Hardly "pinpointing" is it? - It's not as if eBay is now showing your full address. Chances are the addition of a more accurate area location to cities such as London is more to do with the pending introduction of Simple/Managed Delivery than a sinister attempt to reveal your precise whereabouts to the world.
I understand that Mangled Delivery shipping options shown to the buyer are going to be based on the sellers location and (obviously) different couriers may be available in, say, Croydon than in Enfield. I can't see that any seller would have an issue with that really. Unless they're trying to hide something.
As @jckl1957 writes, if you post the question from your selling account other members will be able to look into it further and provide a more accurate response. Posting a question about the location showing on your seller account on your buying-only account ... well, it looks like you're trying to hide something...
