I sold an item last weekend, was delivered Tuesday so should have received payment today.
However, buyer filled in feedback on Tuesday evening, E-bay released funds Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning.
So, it would appear, on a sample set of one, that if the buyer fills in positive feedback E-Bay now release the funds quicker.

If the tracking does not update on the eBay side but it is showing as delivered on the courier site then you can reach out to customer support who can review to release funds manually.

Item tracking shows delivered at 4.51pm on 27th May
Ebay shows item delivered on 28th May?????
Positive Feedback received 27th May - funds not released? (£140)
Spoke to Tom in the payments department and he told me that the policy of immediate release of funds as quoted by eBay does NOT apply to private sellers. All private sellers have to wait 2 days for payment regardless.
Despite tracked confirmation of delivery on 27th, funds will be released on May 30th after 3 days.
I'm not too fussed financially, waiting a few days is neither here nor there but having Customer service advisors telling me that your Policy is in fact incorrect is just not on.
Please either amend your policy accordingly or train your advisors correctly.

If immediate release of funds on receiving positive feedback following delivery doesn't apply to Private Sellers then who does it apply to? It can't apply to Business sellers as they receive the funds once the buyer's payment is confirmed. I think the person you spoke to must be getting confused.

Feedback before ebay registered the delivery maybe the prob with your funds not being released the same day.
You do get paid if a buyer leaves feedback before the 2 days are up. Tom from accounts has given you the wrong info.
