How many people here have had their money " withheld" with the Ebay scam !!

They accepted my buyers payment, took their commision plus advertising fee and then decided to put a restriction on my account.

Now they are asking for proof of delivery for all my past sales when I use Royal Mail untracked before they will lift the restrictions. Thats something they know I can't supply.

"Ebay you are distroying any respect you had" enjoy your money!

We need to get together to bring them to justice and make them accountable for their actions

please put your case below so we can bring this to their attention because im sick of speaking to the junior clerk thats told what to say

Well I did mention the brand name, I said in the description it was "not an
apple watch" to be honest to customers. If I was aware that brand names
cannot be mentioned, if eBay said to me you can't mention anything then I
would have removed it.

Honest people get punished, there are so many copy products on eBay with
brand names and customers being told they are buying original items.

Anyhow they can shove there account, it's not worth the hassle, in fact I
had cancelled selling the watches before they froze my account. But heho

Hi

Ok look I'm not selling 1000 of watches, I bought 10 samples, only sold 2
on eBay found it wasn't worth the hassle. I removed the product from eBay
while my account was on hold, I still sold several water bottles and
footballs before I was banned from eBay. They still kept the money.

I was not trying to be sneaky, I was being truthful, why can't they just
block comments like they do with phone numbers and say sorry you can't list
things like that.

Anyhow the watches are in the bin and eBay can shove it.
I spend 1000 on eBay, not anymore, they have lost a good buyer.

Something that increasing numbers of private sellers are finding and having the same reaction to I think.

With the search stacked in favour of Sponsored Listings I haven't sold anything on ebay since May.

If I ever do sell another item will I find I've been down-graded to "Returning or Infrequent Seller" although I've had live listings all through the sales drought and find my funds on Hold?

Who knows? But it's something that must now be taken into account as it's part of the down-side of selling on ebay.

If I'm subjected to a payment Hold, it will only be that once and I'll be gone.

Unfortunately, there are laws in places that eBay operate in, no matter the "agreed terms of service" they cannot break the law. There are ways.

I've recently sent a parcel to the USA the buyer went fir the cheapest option of untracked

They have been in touch saying their item hasn't arrived. Ebay have now withheld my funds because I can't provide tracking.

It is up to you to say what postage options you are offering on your listings. Never, ever send untracked unless you can afford to lose it and definitely not if you are sending an item overseas.

Why didn't you use the Global Shipping Program? If you're sending abroad then you should at least use the GSP, that way you only have to prove delivery to the UK depot that deals with the GSP, then it's eBay's responsibility of getting it overseas. And eBay wouldn't use an untracked postal method!

Also, RM Tracked 48 to the GSP location is, like, under £3.50 for small parcel 2kg...
