Different price

Hi. Could anybody help to find out why the price is different.  On the page it's 22.5, but in the basket it's already 27. Seller is in the UK, so am I.

are you sure the seller is in the uK? It may state the item is in the uk but if the seller is registered overseas eg china or anywhere else for that matter then you are liable for 20% vat as ebay see it as an import of item from overseas which means item is liable for 20% vat. Easiest way to check is goto the about me on the section of the sellers details and see where they are registered.

Despite what it says on the listing, the Channel Islands are not part of the UK so there may be VAT to pay

Not for VAT purposes.

Jersey being a crown dependency operates outside of the uk vat scheme, so vat is applicable on imports to the uk. In reverse if you were to sell an item to jersey then a 5% gst is applicable.
