On the Royal Mail web site, it gives the maximum size of a Large Letter, and it also gives examples - specifically DVDs.
But when trying to list a DVD as a Large Letter on ebay, it only allows Simple Delivery, even though ebay's example of a Large Letter is a sweater!
Is there some way of listing a DVD with custom delivery?

all ebay state on opting out is
The option to opt out and select Custom postage is only available for items in specific categories that are priced £20 and under. This includes items which are typically letter or large letter-sized and 100g or under. The £20 limit applies to the item price only and excludes the Buyer Protection Fee.
So, assuming the DVD is under £20 and ebay deems it large letter sized and 100g or under - I suppose the kicker is do ebay define the category its being listed in as one of the opt out categories.
ebay, helpfully, do not provide a list of those categories.

Hi Moonlight @moonlight-rhapsody Yes , they can be Custom postage. Make sure you put in a price under £20, then make sure LL is selected and it should show custom option.

Thank you both for your replies.
"Make sure you put in a price under £20"
That's where I'd gone wrong - I'd just put down very basic info to see if it could go Custom, because as jonatjonatjonat says, ebay doesn't provide a list of exempted categories, so I hadn't got as far as putting the cost in. Now that I've put the cost in, Custom Delivery has appeared 👍
