Country/Region of Manufacture and Country of Origin

I'm hoping this is just in the categories I sell in but I seem to have stumbled across a major problem.

When the whole US tariffs affair started obviously eBay asked for the Country/Region of Manufacture to be filled in, which I'm sure everyone did do. It seems they have now added a new item specific for Country of Origin and made this the primary option for postage so unless you have that filled in its blank, it doesnt matter if you have manufacture in. I was speaking to a member of staff (not customer services) who told me that it was designed to autofill from the already chosen option but it hasnt.

Just wanted to give a heads up in case its happening in all categories, my US sales took a huge dive thanks to Trump anyway so its not like I've missed out but others may have. Obviously it only matters if you use GSP.

If you bulk edit all your listings, those without a Country of Origin are highlighted as soon as you are taken to the bulk edit page.

It's a futer to add the Country of Origin in the bulk editing, but it can be done.  Hopefully the penny will drop with eBay soon.

It doesn't just apply to GSP, we post internationally and don't use GDP.  Unless the column is filled in, listings are not visible internationally.  

Were finding the Royal Mail PDDP service excellent, including having tracking and notice of arrival for International Standard as well as International Tracked postage options.
