Confused about payment after a sale

Normally the money from selling an item goes directly into my bank account so I get the money quite quickly. Will I now have to request this to be done each time I sell an Item?

From the 16th of Oct, yes, you will have to.....

(ebay are hoping you'll leave it there for long enough to gain some interest for them, or that you'll spend it buying something on ebay!)

Yes, after the 16th your sales will be shown as a positive balance in your account. You can leave it to accumulate until you wish to withdraw it or take it as you go.

I'd be happy with the arrangement as I spend more than I sell on ebay except I would rather pay by card to get the cashback. Still I see it from ebay's perspective that this will reduce their card payment costs.

When payments were dealt with by PayPal I used to leave most of my money in the account to use on EBay but now I've gotten used to the money being deposited in my bank account the next day. I guess I'll have to wait and see how easy it is to request a payout to my bank account to see if I again keep money in my EBay account or if I just get it deposited in my bank account.

Using an ebay account balance would make my bank and credit card statements a lot shorter!

There will be a tab that says withdraw but it takes 0-4 days to receive the payment. Might be a day or 2 slower than it is now. I think it's a good way for Ebay to make some interest on your money in their bank !! 😂

are now under the banner of ebay motors

means i now have fees to pay

 i cant find where it tells you the fees 

But I did find section telling me i have to have a permit to sell Car Parts & Accessories

 I did find a section that if i cancel i would be charged fees 

can anyone elaborate on this .
