Closer look about the new private sellers’s updates.

So. I have a few sales that were shipped and delivered a few days ago. In fact, I've received positive feedback from the buyers! I still haven't received the money from these sales. It's been well over 48 hours.
So I looked into things a bit.

Ebay's new changes regarding for private sellers is simple nonsense and distortion of the law. Ebay has no legal basis to withhold, to use or manipulate funds that are not their property. Because, Ebay is an online sales platform / “shop” and offers nothing more than an online place where private individuals can sell. Ebay sales nothing than a online platform for private / business individuals / sellers.  These private individuals are selling their own properties and belongings.  Buyers pay to the sellers for these items, not to Ebay just through Ebay.
Ebay is just a intermediary partipiant in this case.
So the money goes entirely to the seller as the owner. Ebay can only do one thing, it can charge both the seller and the buyer a brokerage and sales fee, as well as a fee for using the online store. Nothing more. It has no right to do anything with the money from sales or to withhold it for any reason. If this is the case, then it is a business abuse of material property and deception. It doesn't matter what the smart lawyers have written in the privacy policy, it is completely illegal manipulation and a loophole. In addition, private sellers have no choice in this new system. Either they accept this new and completely outrageous situation, or they simply close their accounts and leave Ebay. Most of the private sellers they can’t understand even a word in this legal humbug, so they can’t raise their concerns against it.  This is exploitation and a restriction of the personal rights of private sellers, as it deprives them of the free management of their legitimate material property and immediate and full access to it.
Ebay should put back the selling fees and the brokerage fees, and sellers should be given immediate access to their rightful financial assets.

Think about this! Thank you.
You all take care!

Sincerely, Zsolt

As long as it is allowed for in the terms and conditions you agreed to by using the site, eBay has every right to hold on to the proceeds of your sales.

In the real world, if you sell your items on a B&M auction house, you will routinely wait over a fortnight or even a month, after an auction has taken place, before you are actually in possession of the funds.

You are now paying ZERO in listing fees, and ZERO in selling fees. Is it really too much to wait a few days for your money? As soon as eBay was confirmed its receipt, you know it's safe.

This has all been covered in dozens of other threads. You could spend a few moments reading them.

I have full responsiblity for my family and I will never let them down. Ain’t got no other help, ain’t got no supporting background. Money and finances can’t be just fun for me! That’s why I’m not that patient! I think I am not the only one.
