Temporarily for possibly up to (6 months) I don't expect to be selling anything on Ebay - as I think (from everything I have seen and read) about this tragic decision shall cause Ebay to have to make certain changes to get Mandatory Simple Delivery working to it's fullest potential and iron out the problems it most certainly has in it's present state. It's in no way Simple to me, as what I call 'Simple' is parcelling up a sold Ebay item and taking it to my local Post Office which I pass by each day when I go to work anyway - and when I take it there, then they (the paid Professionals) do all the work for me, which they get paid to do. That welcomed service they provide cannot be more simpler, but yet Ebay-UK powers-that-be think otherwise - even though it's been welcomed by Ebay for 30 years since it's creation.
'We The UK' citizens are basically being treated as Human Guinea Pigs for being the very first country to be placed in this unpleasant decision - whilst the rest of the world watches - as they are the lucky ones (so far).
Maybe they did this not necessarily out of Spite, but to just see how the British would react to this, and to test it out like the Guinea Pigs they chose to treat us as, as after all, Private Sellers pay no sellers fees, so it's not like they'll lose too much if it all goes pear-shaped, which I think it has already - especially if you are like myself and have only ever used the Post Office to post parcels through Ebay for the last 22 years, which I NEVER thought Ebay would ever change.
I am sorry I cannot simply say a LEAVING or STAYING answer as you requested in this thread for both a Seller and Buyer, as that would be a Permanent answer, and I think even when people commit to either of those answers, then maybe they'll change their mind in the future - for one reason or another. But as for myself as a Buyer on Ebay, that I can safely say shall I shall be STAYING, as Ebay is still great for Buying, and I suspect it always shall be - no matter what future changes Ebay makes. For anyone to Boycott it would only hurt ourselves.
