Hi,
I'm a dinosaur and don't actually own a printer. Not needed one due to low volume of sales but with all the postage changes coming in the next few weeks it's probably about time to get one. Can you please recommend a decent thermal label printer for ebay postage labels ?
Thanks in advance for your time and any suggestions.

I have a Jaden thermal printer, had it for over a year. One app, prints from desktop, tablet and phone. Cost around £80. I think it’s amazing!
I’m sure someone else will recommend others.
Loads of YouTube reviews.

We have a GPrinter GP-1324D which we've used daily for around three years now. It's never given us a single problem. You can usually find them on ebay for around 60 quid.

Do you really need a thermal printer?
I use an Epson which cost about £50 4 years ago.
Ink is cheap on eBay and A4 paper is around £4 for 500 sheets.
I don't always have to use the A4 paper as if appropriate I can print straight on to an envelope.
If you send "packing slips" you can print them from the ebay website.

I just use a canon A4 printer which works fine for my sales rate which look higher than yours have been. Sure the label needs cutting down and taping on but I am very quick now and have a way of doing it that barely uses much more tape than I would use to seal the box anyway. I reuse the offcut paper as packaging material for use inside large letter PIP boxes. A4 printers are useful for other stuff and often have inbuilt scanners so if you are only going to have one printer I would suggest an A4 printer.

Wont ebay be sending you a free printer ?
After all its them who have set up a system requiring one.

Yes, they'll also be sending a packing assistant, to pack your parcels sufficiently bomb-proof to withstand Evri deliveries. It will be AI powered, so it will also take your parcel to the Evri drop-off point that you can't visit yourself.

They would send you a free printer if they could turn it into a lucrative revenue stream.
Maybe they could apply a buyers label tax and then tell sellers "it's free to print"?
