Can't send invoice reminder any more?

Oh great, yet more fun with "Not remotely simple delivery". So now I can't send an invoice reminder because "Invoices cannot be sent for items where eBay manages all or part of the postage. These items are excluded from this invoice." The buyer wasn't even British so ebay had nothing to do with the postage.

ebay has been sending automatic reminders to late payers for some time now.

When eBay USA took away Send Invoice option from Private Sellers in 2023 they '...eventually admitted it was actually an unannounced change meant to cut down on sellers sending invoices in situations where eBay believed it is unnecessary because buyers already received payment reminders automatically.' So not actually due to Simple Delivery, but more noticeable now because of Sellers looking for any possible solution for the lack of Combined P&P with some SD orders.

I noticed this today - it seems like it's not possible to send an invoices to an international buyer where the postage is simple delivery. There are often circumstances where you'd need to do that as ebay's delivery regions don't match up with Royal Mail's 'World zones' or also if you could get better rates to specific countries via courier.
