My buyer has chosen ParcelForce Express24 delivery and the only option I am getting for postage is to print the label myself. There is no option to get a QR code (as has been the case for the last few things I have sold)
This is extremely annoying as I rarely use a printer and I find it needs new ink - so now I have to fork out £15 for a new ink cartridge before I can print the label.
Before this new "Simple Delivery" came in I would have bought the postage myself and got q QR code from Parcelforce and had them print the label !
How is this an improvement for sellers !

That item was sold with custom postage not Simple Delivery and Parcelforce Express 24 was the only option you had on the listing. Simple Delivery currently only uses Royal Mail Tracked and Evri.

I did not "select" custom postage - I had no option to choose Simple Delivery due to the package size (a TV monitor). I then selected Express 24 as looking like the best value/speed but did not realise they don't offer a QR code.

Custom Postage is eBay's terminology for anything that isn't part of Simple Delivery.

If you have a local library, many of them will have computers and printers, and will print a A4 black and white - e.g. my local costs 15p/page and you don't even have to be a member.
"then selected Express 24 as looking like the best value/speed but did not realise they don't offer a QR code. " as with many things in life - people make mistakes. I've made many and bigger ones.
