Buyer pays postage- how come my monthly transaction sheet is showing debits for postage labels ?

I'm looking at an example  :Transaction summary for 01 Jun, 2025 - 30 Jun, 2025. There are £***.67 fees for postage labels- when i sell the buyer always pays for postage so why am i  seemingly being deducted these charges? It happens every month. Please forgive me if I'm just being silly and missing something..

Does the order amount consist of item fee paid and postage charge (as I believed) -should have been paying more attention!

Funds breakdown

Opening funds (on 01 Jun) £13.39

Orders (Total minus fees)

£****.90

Refunds (Total net of fees and credits) -£*.70

Postage labels -£1**.67 (three figure sum)

Purchases -£33.70

Payouts -£4**.66

Closing funds (carried over to next month's opening funds) £4**

Many thanks in advance

To explain it as clearly ans simply as I can ...

You have two types of listing.

Some items (books for example) are listed with Simple Delivery.  The buyer pays you the cost of the book but they pay Ebay for postage.  Ebay supply a pre-paid label which you print and use.  There is no charge to you for the postage as the buyer pays Ebay direct.  You do have to use the Ebay pre-paid label though and not purchase another label through Ebay.

Other items (L'Occitane products) are not eligible for Simple Delivery.  The buyer pays you for postage and you will be charged by Ebay if you buy the postage through Ebay.
