Buyer collection

Sold an item EBay assumed it would be posted and charged buyer accordingly, buyer is collecting item as per sales option. How do I tell EBay that it is being collected and free up my payment.

Your buyer chose the postage option at checkout, if they now want to collect it you need to cancel that sale and relist it with just collection.  If you don't, not only will you have to wait for payment, but the buyer could claim item not received and get a refund and the item.

Thanks for that, the buyer made an offer and was automatically charged for postage by EBay they weren't given an option have spoken to buyer who is coming to collect.

There should have been an option to choose collection when they made the offer, but possibly not.  

If they are still coming to collect then you have the risks I already set out.  You will also have to refund them them the postage.  I would still cancel, refund, and relist at the agreed price (bearing in mind the buyer protection fee).
