Bidding / buyer protection fees

Taking in consideration the new eBay fees system I would like advise private sellers to be prepared for more canceling requests on biding on their items. It's at the buyers mercy if you will sell the item or not because he can consider that he does not want to pay that certain fee. Right he is, can say.. his money . As by the looks of it eBay aims to abolish private sellers. Just a feeling...

Sorry the masses do not look on here.

This is for questions about buying and selling and therefore not visited in large numbers.

Re: Bidding / buyer protection fees

I don't really understand why you would think that it will lead to more cancellations anyway.

Bidders/buyers see the price they will have to pay upfront.

There are no nasty surprises at checkout or when an invoice is sent.
