4 % buyer's protection fee + £0.75 is added when selling to the UK buyers. There is a fee 3% to sell internationally so it seems a better deal than selling nationally now.

It should just be a 3% fee for the seller.
Buyer Protection isn't available in the US, plus the US buyer will be logged into the US site when they make the purchase from a UK seller.

I thought the extra 3% for non UK sales was on top of the newly added 75p + 4% BPF for UK sales but the only update i can find is from October 24.

I am going to confirm it with ebay. What made me question that was the comment that "UK buyer£ will pay 4% fee. Buyer's protection fee is still not applied in the US and this is where I send most of my items outside of the UK.

The Buyer Protection Fee applies to all items purchased on ebay.co.uk:
'When you shop on eBay.co.uk, your purchase now always includes Buyer Protection. When you buy from UK-based private sellers, the item price includes a Buyer Protection fee (excluding Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles, Classified Ads and Property).'
The buyer pays the fee to eBay when purchasing on eBay.co.uk from UK private sellers (excluding Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles, Classified Ads and Property).'

Nah, not with higher postage and the risk of potential returns.

I will continue selling internationally as the US market is big. The only concern might be the cost of international shipping via GSP that can put some potential buyers off.

The GSP isn't being applied to lots of items for the US too at the moment, many of which aren't on their published restricted list.
