Are these stamps still valid?

Hi. 

Bought these stamps a while ago. I was told that, even without QR code, they're still valid as the're non-standard format. Can somebody confirm if it's true? I could go to the nearest post office/corner shop. But the next nearest one has been raided by police recently, and post office closed. I just don't have much trust in those, and main PO is not close.

Yes, quite valid.  The need for barcodes only applies to "definitive" stamps ie 'ordinary' ones that just show the Queen or King's head.

Yes, absolutely valid. They are commemorative stamps (picture) and if you check out latest commemorative stamps on the Royal Mail website, you can see new issues that are similar and also do not have barcodes.
