£45.04 to send 4 small parcels & a LL to UK addresses ?

Further to my other posts about my quest to find out why I am not being paid for my sales I am on live chat right this second 19/02/2025 16:20 and this is what I am being told.

 After selling these

Sale 1 £10.00 postage £2.70 Royal Mail

Sale 2 £30 postage £3.39  Royal Mail

Sale 3 £6 postage £2.69 Yodel

Sale 4 £4.50 postage £2.69 Yodel

Sale 5 £6.00 postage £2.69 Yodel

But I am being told there is nothing due to be paid to me ?.

I am being told that there are no funds due to me as all the money was used for postage labels.

There has also been some kind of phantom charge of £0.96p which is also being attributed to Postage.

So I have sold £56.50 and Ebay Customer Services are saying that I am due £00.00 as all the money was used for postage ?. 4 small parcels and a large letter all going to UK addresses and all delivered .

What on Earth is going on ?. All I can do now is print all this info' and go to a national newspaper as this is robbery pure and simple.

I'm assuming none of them are Global Shipping Program sales?

It's also possible that you have a negative ebay balance thatt was covered by the sales.

What do the payment breakdowns for each item say?

Not sure I'd just keep hounding ebay for an explaination and full breakdown.

Not exactly the same but close enough to trigger my interest.

There is a thread here where eBay are trying to force charge a refund from a seller. The seller mentioned that earlier in the procedure when eBay agreed to refund the buyer eBay asked the seller to pay 99p. Nobody knows what that is.

I'll find it and link you to it. Could be worth copying if there is any possibility that it's the same type of thing as your 96p phantom fee.

I think the above is the thread I mentioned before. In their description they refer to a 99p. Alot of experienced users replied. Nobody seems to know what that fee is.

Re: £45.04 to send 4 small parcels & a LL to UK addresses ?

The oldest of these five sales is from 8th February. Did you enter the tracking details into eBay when they were sent?

If not, funds will not yet be released by eBay, since the new holds were introduced.

Since the introduction of the holds, funds are now available 14 calendar days from the order date, unless tracking shows the item was delivered before that, in which case, it should be available two days after delivery.

Your money will be safe, and you will get it. I have no idea why customer services didn't tell you that.

Re: £45.04 to send 4 small parcels & a LL to UK addresses ?

I wish that were the case!

I've received funds for items I sent RM Tracked 48hrs, 2days after delivery was confirmed by tracking - as should be the case/as advertised.

HOWEVER, for items I've sent RM 2nd Class Large Letter, purchased through ebay with the generic tracking number uploaded (which only confirms delivery if the postie scans it on arrival)...I have three items that have been scanned on delivery and marked on ebay/my orders page as 'delivered' and x1 'Funds available in ebay balance 15th Feb' and other x2 with same message for 16th Feb...but neither have appeared in my funds to withdraw, with my balance still showing as £0.00, but I can see funds 'still pending' in my account! So either the 2-day post tracked delivery 'funds released' rule only applies to TRACKED services (RM24/48 etc) and not other forms of tracking delivery, or the system isn't working.

Sorry - am I replying to two people here or are you the OP, posting under a different account? It's a little confusing.

Take a screenshot of your All Transactions page, as no one can possible understand the issues you face without it.

'I have no idea why customer services didn't tell you that.'

Beacuse CS are a complete waste of time.

They probably only exist because of some 'legality' clause somewhere that says large online selling platforms have to have human help in the system somewhere or other.....

Users with problems would get much clearer answers coming here and asking for help.

Re: £45.04 to send 4 small parcels & a LL to UK addresses ?

Just to update - my pending funds have now cleared (delivered and logged on ebay as delivered 15th and 16th Feb respectively), so after the expected 2-day post delivery wait for funds to appear, it actually took 4 and 3 days longer than ebay advertised. I've already withdrawn the funds immediately and deleted my watchlist of the items I'd been planning to buy. I'm sticking to my principles and no longer buying on ebay, I feel its the only way to try and impact ebays recent decision making to influence them to reconsider  and re-evaluate. If they don't that's up to them, but I wish all sellers and buyers good luck moving forward, as I for one will no longer buy on here as it is no longer a platform I have any trust in.

I hope others who were waiting for their funds have had similar success now too.
