eBay allow members 4 full days to pay then you can cancel the order citing Buyer Has Not Paid,  this gives the buyer a well deserved strike on their account.  They are only allowed one before buying restrictions are imposed.

Always block non payers from returning:

You could relist the Pixel Pro as a fixed price Buy it Now item and select immediate payment.

Good Afternoon Tinas

As you now have a good idea of just how much people will pay for the item the next time around make your listing a Buy It Now with instant payment required.

Hello Tina,

I don't mean to be overly pessimistic here, but I've noticed you have 'click and collect' as one of your postage options.

I'd avoid that with an item this expensive.

Ebay have a habit of hanging on to the payment for very expensive items (that are unusual items for that particular seller) for rather a long time, and until delivery is 'confirmed'.

There's been a bit of confusion recently about *when* ebay consider an item sent to 'click and collect', is actually delivered.

Is it:  delivered to the C+C store? or when the buyer has actually collected it from there?

I think the ebay rep on these boards said it was the buyer collecting was the proof. And there's a fair few people working in C+C shops who don't know the relevant process (or don't care!)

Special Delivery (with a signature) to an actual address would be my choice...

Did you cancel the first one, you need to cancel that order citing Buyer Requests to Cancel ?

For the second  they only bought the item today and may not even know they won the auction.

You do need to wait 4 days as you may just have a late payer. When this time lapses you cancel for Buyer Has Not paid.

Then, as suggested relist as a Buy it Now item, the phone must have a ceiling level, a price you'd be happy to receive.  List it for that price and select immediate payment required.

Items over £450 must have a signature on delivery to be eligible for seller protection.

How would this work with C&C?  The person collecting it doesn't have to sign for it - is the signature of the C&C shop good enough for seller protection to kick in if the item's collected?  However, without a buyer signature, the buyer could say that they hadn't collected it.  I know Argos don't check the collector's identity because I often collect stuff for my OH.

As you recommend, SD with a signature would be far safer for a costly item.

The phone only sold this morning and Ebay allow the seller 4 complete days to pay.
