£1 Showing On My Credit Card Linked To My PayPal Account , But Not Showing As A Payment On PayPal

I have something really strange happened Yesterday. I have two separate £1 showing on my credit card linked to my paypal account but is not showing as a payment in my PayPal account.  Has anybody noticed this

I'm not sure what you mean here, do you mean that you've bought two items for £1 each with the credit card you have linked to your PayPal account?

Is it possible that you've used the card elsewhere to make the purchases?

No I have not brought anything for a £1 , on my credit statement it says Ebay / PayPal  £1 yet it is not showing as a payment on my PayPal account . That is why I am finding it really strange

Now they have both been refunded back onto my credit . If looks like ebay took to separate payment which is then refund back . Does anybody know why ?

It may be a card verification where a small payment,£1 is taken then refunded to confirm card and details are valid.
