Apologies - just looked at the photo I'd uploaded on my earlier post and something's gone wrong. Too dim to work out how to edit my original post and/or delete and replace the photo so starting again!
Real challenge for you! I saved a couple of figurines from being skipped and whilst not to my taste I wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about them. Both have a very clear stamp on the base being a crown and the letter G underneath.
I was guessing they might be Eastern European or possibly Italian, but the reality is I'm clueless! Google has failed me on this one! Any ideas?
Also for some reason even though eBay allows me to list items using jpeg files it won't let me add a jpeg file to the community board. Too old for all of this!! Hopefully photo below can be seen by all.
Many thanks for reading.

Hello
It would be good to see a full photo of one or both of the figures.
But I'm thinking German, maybe early 20th century?
Hope that helps a little
regards
Steve

Not sure if my photo pulled through when I replied! Tried to send from my phone. Just in case it didn't!

Hi
The photo has come through this time, they look in good condition.
I will stick with German, and with early 20th century, maybe a lttle earlier. that should narrow it down for you.
Sorry cannot offer any further help, I have no reference for German pottery marks.
Don't give them away!
all the best
Steve

As I thought. Made in Taiwan

PS They could at least remove the sticker Made in Taiwan before declaring it German🤣

Thank you. Very similar figurine but the stamp on the bottom is completely different. Amazed I can't find the stamp on mine via my internet searching!

Thank you for your help. However, I still can't find any evidence of the stamp being a piece made in Taiwan or indeed anywhere. I'm suprised that despite extensive searching on the internet I can't find another piece with the same maker's stamp.

On ebay there is another couple marked Made in China and another one unmarked. It happens because there is one manufacurer only selling to different exporters and each one put his own mark. Your one uses a fake old Ginori "Capodimonte" mark (the crown is different) but none of these backmarks is underglaze, they are applied on finished piece
