Does anyone recognise this vase?

Hello, does anyone recognise this vase? I like it, but know nothing about it - can any one help as to its identity and possible value? Oddly it has no identifying marks at all on the base. Out of interest, I have a few other vases with no identifying mark what so ever. Is that common? - as the first advice is always to view the identifying marks on the base of a vase?

Hi,

I don't recognise the pottery and it is strange for what appears to be a studio piece not to be marked so I assume that it has had a paper label on it at some time which has become detached.. It's not unusual for nineteenth century pieces not to be marked.

I'm late to this discussion, but for what it's worth I think this is probably German 1960s or 70s, although they often have numbers moulded in the base. It might have had a sticker on the base at one time.
