I tried to generate QR codes / postage labels for a couple of items I sold this morning, only for the site to say there was a technical issue and to come back later.
The problem was, when I clicked back on my orders it said that IT HAD generated a QR code and sent one to my email address and gave me a tracking number for each item. This is not true (no emails even hours later…) and eBay was not acknowledging the problem.
If anyone is experiencing a similar problem, I did find a workaround. If you have a desktop, go to SELLING and then select POSTAGE LABELS to see a list of orders. Go to the ACTIONS bar to the right of the order you’re looking for, click on the arrow on the right and select DOWNLOAD LABEL AND QR CODE.
You can now click on SAVE QR code (PNG file) or DOWNLOAD LABEL. I saved the PNG file of the QR code and then put it in an email so I could find it on my phone at the Post Office. Alternatively you can print the postage label itself.
Hope that helps if anyone is experiencing something similar...
