Simple delivery

Just a simple question here.

I am looking to sell something that's worth over £500 on eBay.

Before you had the option of insurance through the drop down menus.

Do we still have this option, of adding extra insurance with Simple delivery?

Sounds of dumb question but am I missing something?

Any help would be appreciated

ebay say you don't need to buy insurance with SD for items under £750.

"You'll be protected if the item is lost or damaged from the point the item is scanned into the carrier's delivery network and until it's marked as delivered".

If your item is lost or damaged in transit the buyer should open the appropriate case on ebay and they will issue the refund themselves.

Hi everyone,
Not sure where to post this but I have a question.
Why does the following occur?
I go to RM website to buy a 1kg Tracked 48 label to go to London - Cost £3.45.
I go to RM website to buy a 1kg Tracked 48 label to go to Jersey, Channel Islands - Cost £2.88.

The difference is VAT.   Items sent to the Channel Islands are not subject to UK VAT.
