Simple delivery label scanned twice

Hey, I had the same label scanned twice for 2 different items. The buyer received their item and someone else’s and won’t send it back. I can’t understand how Royal Mail can scan the same thing twice in the space of 3 days.

Well you would think that that wouldn't actually be possible but there have been several reports of it happening.

Have you provided the buyer who has the item with a prepaid return label?  Might also be worth offering them something to compensate them for their time and the trouble caused.

I’ve refunded the buyer already, but 

down quite a bit of money because of it
