Hi, does anyone know if Simple Delivery is planned to be introduced for business sellers?

A the open event in Birmingham I spoke to somebody (cant remember job title sorry) and they said its something they would look into and hope to bring in for 2026, issue is they released it so badly to private accounts that it still has a bad reputation and would need to be an opt in. They did ask if they could reach out to me closer to the time but I dont hold my breathe on that.
I think a lot of small/medium businesses would jump at the chance, its not like we get a great discount from Royal Mail or anything anyway and it stops issues like missing parcels or damage in transit.

Oh thank ypu for your reply! That would be great exactly for cases of lost or damaged parcels. From what I know, with Simple Delivery sellers don’t receive negative feedback for issues like that, because the delivery is handled by eBay. Recently I had a parcel that went missing. Even though I provided the tracking, refunded the customer and apologised, I still received a negative feedback because the buyer was unhappy – even though the situation was completely outside my control. So something like Simple Delivery would definitely help sellers in situations like this.

They have similar with authentication but its DPD next day and its great, all i need to care about is dropping the parcels off and I know my worries are over. I've had a couple lost and I just phone eBay who then do all the running around with DPD and due to the volume they are dealt with much quicker as they have multiple account handlers/managers. Never had any negative feedback to see how easy it would be removed but eBay have always emailed the customer outlining the issue and taking blame away from me.
