Buying tracked shipping to the USA on the RM website, will not let me progress past Recipient Email Address and Recipient Telephone Number, I try to skip it and am told "A valid email / tel number is required"
On the telephone to RM I am directed to this part of their website:
"To help facilitate customs clearance, it is recommended that you provide recipient contact details (email address and/or phone number) so that recipients are contactable if any information is missing or incorrect. Contact details should be provided within the electronic customs data or in the case of a CN23 on the physical declaration. To ensure this information is protected do not write these contact details separately on the outside item."

(right at the bottom of the page in small print)
This statement doesn't match the functionality on the website.
Is it recommended or mandatory?
Is it a legal requirement?
And if not why won't you sell your product without it?
Is it an email and/or a phone number or actually both.
Because you can no longer purchase international tracked shipping to the USA without the recipient Email and Telephone Number.
Regardless of if this is legal requirement or not, RM seem to require it now.
Yet again the info on the RM website is not fit for purpose.
They've had 28 days to get their ship in shape regarding these changes, and actually warn their customer base of coming changes, rather than reacting to matters after the fact.
There is also a customs charge on top of the postage cost, added at point of sale.
I've basically just removed all my listings from the USA.
From what I can see the old postage charge of about £10.99 now comes in at £17 post tariffs.
Just don't get how any of this is helping anyone other than those at the very very top?
